Nuovi libri e torta di mele, new books and apple pie

Finally I've got the 2 books I've purchased on Bookdepository, english website on which you can order books, often with a reduction, you can pay in Euros and the delivery is free of charge. They also have an excellent customer service: I received the answer to some questions, via email, within 20 minutes. Let's talk about the books.
In the Cath Kisdton one there is also the precut fabric, with the buttons and the original label, to create the same bag you see on cover page. Great! To tell you the truth, dear friends, i've lots of sewing and stitching project, but I suppose i need to find the time to make everything!!!!!!!!
I've just made my apple pie and we have a good smell in our house. The recipe is very simple: 300gr of flour, 300gr of sugar, a sachet of baking powder, a glass of wine full of seeds oil, 3 eggs, 2 tablespoon of lemon curd, half a  glass of milk, 2 apples, icing sugar.Peel the apples and slice them, put in a dish with the juice of half lemon and a tablespoon af  sugar. Whip up the eggs whites. Put all together the yolks and all the ingredients in a bowl and mix. Then add the eggs whites whiped up, mixing lightly. Line a baking tin with greaseproof paper,  pour the mixture into the tin, cover the mixture with the apples' slices and bake 170° for about 45 minutes. Once cooked and out of the oven, sprinkle the icing sugar on and ... yummy!
